With the modern web, new tricks have been created to beautify and optimize the browsing experience. Among those tricks are jQuery manipulations, font icons, CSS3 animations, WebGL, and many others. New APIs are being speced, developed, and integrated into Modern Browsers every day.

As a developer for an active web shop, I'm exposed to many of these new technologies on the daily - Fighting battles with IE, pimping out webkit experiences, or adapting to mobile limitations. Though I've been developing casually since a child, and professionally for years, I've only recently felt that my experiences and knowledge are worth sharing. As I continue to develop and learn, I plan on writing about what I learn. Others before me, (stack overflow, HTML5Rocks, etc.) have created thousands of pages and documentation for these ideas. I'm adding my own voice and experiences to theirs, hoping it might help somebody down the line.
